A renowned partner in the world of classic cars, Gooding Christie's is taking another major step forward in its international development with the appointment of two recognized experts: Oliver Camelin and James Knight.

Based in Geneva, Oliver Camelin takes on the role of Managing Director, EMEA. With a solid career at RM Sotheby's, where he headed private sales in Europe, he will leverage his expertise in the high-end market and his international network to strengthen the company's presence in the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets.

In London, James Knight, a true pillar of the automotive auction world, joins Gooding Christie's as Senior Specialist Consultant. Former president of Bonhams' automotive department, he brings more than forty years of experience in managing exceptional collections and selling iconic models that have often achieved world records.

These two appointments mark a key milestone for Gooding Christie's, which is establishing itself as a key player in Europe ahead of its first official European sale, to be held at the Rétromobile show in Paris on January 29, 2026.
