At Rétromobile, classic vehicles are not just meant to be admired. They tell stories, pass on knowledge and, at times, come back to life in motion. Dynamic demonstrations, encounters, guided tours and exclusive animations punctuate the show, offering visitors a lively immersion into automotive history. Discover all the animations that make Rétromobile’s heart beat throughout the event.

Dynamic demonstrations: when the past comes back to life

At Rétromobile, mechanical masterpieces are not only admired while standing still. They come alive in motion at the heart of the new Rétro Démo Zone, located outside Hall 7.

Every day from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, visitors to the world’s finest temporary garage are invited to enjoy spectacular dynamic demonstrations. The American Stuart tank, presented by the Armoured Vehicles Museum, is showcased in action, highlighting the historical role of these exceptional vehicles. At the same time, the Club Teuf Teuf offers a more intimate yet equally memorable experience, with rides in vehicles produced before 1930. Among them is a rare 1913 Vinot & Deguingand omnibus, used during the war and later rebodied after 1918 as a hotel omnibus in southwestern France. A unique way to experience the very beginnings of motoring from the inside.

RétroTour: discovering Rétromobile’s exhibitions differently

To go further in exploring the exhibitions, Rétromobile offers daily RétroTours, free guided tours of the show’s flagship exhibitions, led by passionate experts.

Through these commented tours, visitors are invited to take a fresh look at several major exhibitions: the world of Steve McQueen, an absolute icon combining cinema and automotive passion; the BMW Art Cars, where automobiles become works of art; the remarkable Bugatti Railcar, a testament to Ettore Bugatti’s genius and boldness; and the golden age of rallying, a legendary era that shaped the discipline. These RétroTours provide an enriched reading of the show, blending anecdotes, historical insights and expert explanations for a more immersive visit.

Live stage: passion and transmission

Located at the heart of the exhibition dedicated to the golden age of rallying (Hall 7.2), the live stage becomes a true space for sharing and passing on knowledge. Throughout the show, it welcomes those who have shaped the history and legend of the discipline.

Drivers, co-drivers and key figures of rallying share their memories, anecdotes and perspectives on this demanding sport. Among the expected speakers are Ari Vatanen, Dany Snobeck, Alain Oreille and Sylvie Oreille. Rare testimonies that bring the exhibited vehicles to life and immerse visitors in the intensity of rallying’s greatest moments.

At the same time, the FFVE offers a series of practical workshops aimed at collectors, whether enthusiasts or seasoned experts. Registration of classic vehicles, maintenance advice, and insights into new professions linked to historic automobiles are just some of the practical sessions designed to support enthusiasts in fully living their passion.
