TRIBUTE TSR

The TSR is the new model of the Arpiem chrono dedicated to the world of endurance. It evokes the era of the World Sportscar Championship, the ancestor of the current WEC organized between 1953 and 1992. The discipline fell into disuse at that time before being reborn in its current form in 2012. The WSC period was marked by two golden eras: that of the end of the 60s and the beginning of the 70s with the titanic duels between Ford, Ferrari and Porsche. Then the 80s with the unforgettable Group C, Porsche again, Jaguar, Sauber-Mercedes, Lancia. Index 18 indicates the number of titles won by Porsche in this championship. Index 32 highlights the record number of victories won by Jacky Ickx, ​< THE CASE of the ARPIEM Tribute is made of 316L stainless steel, meaning durability and solidity. Waterproofness of 10 ATM - 100 meters is offered. < THE DIAL: the shape of the secondary dials (the “pandas”) is inspired by the manometers of cars from the sixties. The indexes on the main dial represent the tachometer graduations. < THE MOVEMENT: The TSR is equipped with the Swiss RONDA Z50 Quartz movement. < QUALITY SAPPHIRE BOMB CRYSTAL GLASS: it is the best quality of glass and the strongest available on the market. Virtually scratch-proof (only by diamond), its domed finish gives the watch its “vintage” side. < THE TRIPLE LAYER DESIGN OF THE DIAL gives the ARPIEM an elegant volume, which also recalls the “sandwich” alloy construction of racing car chassis before the advent of carbon. < THE TACHOMETER: this one is revisited. The index fingers are usually arranged irregularly on the crown. On the ARPIEM, they are placed like diving watches, the speed being given for each 5-second index on the dial.
